KONG 2.0

After about 100 iterations of our first robot, Kong 1.0, we decided to create a whole new robot and have it finished by the league competition in February. Now using a custom CNC machined chassis, our robot is slimmer and sleeker than ever. Kong 2.0 has gone through a total of 85 iterations now, and we have had a variety of different designs on many of our key parts.  

 

We currently utilize a spinning intake-to-pixel box design for intaking pixels, with two hooks bolted onto our Misumi Slides for quick suspension. We also have a sled-based drone launcher for conserving planes and properly dispersing the force of the drone.
